Welcome to the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) Chapter at Baylor University. AWM's purpose is to encourage women to study, and have active careers in, the mathematical sciences, and to promote equal treatment and opportunities within the field. Our mission is to facilitate activities that support this purpose, both at the graduate and undergraduate levels. We organize events such as social gatherings, presentations, panel discussions, etc., and offer professional development.

We invite everyone who supports the purpose of AWM to our meetings and to become a member of the chapter. We emphasize that the chapter is open to all genders and to both graduate students and undergraduates. Chapter members can (and should) obtain free AWM membership.
